The Festival Hall, originally known as Brisbane Stadium, was built in 1910. In 1958, the original venue was demolished and reopened as Festival Hall. The largest indoor public venue in Brisbane’s city it hosted hundreds of concerts over forty years. My first concert there was The Ramones in 1980.
