In celebration of female swimmers this original paper collage is inspired by a photo of Haley Lewis who trained at the Valley Pool, Brisbane. She was 16 when she won 5 gold medals at The Commonwealth Games in Auckland . She won medals at The Barcelona and Atlanta Olympics, World Swimming championships and in Open Water Swimming. She was awarded an OAM in 2003 for her services to swimming and within the community. Mixed media, watercolour and acrylic collage.
